Yesterday the AGL Energy Executive Team spent time volunteering with The Smith Family by writing to students on the Learning for Life program and learning about the research that AGL is funding for The Smith Family.
AGL supports volunteering by giving employees the opportunity to take one volunteering day a year. Volunteering in the local communities that AGL operates in is a great way to understand our customers and give back to those communities.
As is the case with all our four strategic charity partners, AGL's partnership with The Smith Family has been developed with both the community and our employees in mind. Our support of The Smith Family includes delivering significant programs such as sponsoring the education of 340 Australian students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
